That's why the Grand Hotel Piz Galin is proud to take part in the Family Coach project, an innovative initiative by Visit Paganella designed to help families discover the area through experiences created especially for children.

Unlike a traditional guide, the Family Coach listens to each family's needs, considering the children's ages, interests and pace, and suggests the most suitable activities, walks and attractions. The result is a tailor-made holiday that allows parents and children to experience the mountains in an authentic, relaxed and enjoyable way.

Easy Hiking Trails – Also Suitable for Strollers

One of the reasons why the Paganella area is such a popular destination for families is the wide range of easy hiking trails, many of which are suitable for all-terrain strollers.

Among the most popular experiences is Mega Bugs – The Giant Insect Forest, an immersive woodland trail where children can discover giant insect installations, interactive games and meet Flick, the friendly stag beetle mascot. It is the perfect combination of nature, fun and learning.

Families looking for a peaceful walk will love The Doors of the Forest, an educational trail connecting Dosson and Meriz. Along the way, children can explore the importance of biodiversity while enjoying a pleasant walk surrounded by nature. The trail is suitable for both strollers and bicycles.

Another favourite is Sciury's World, located on the Pradel plateau above Molveno. Following the adventures of Sciury the squirrel, children discover the animals and secrets of the forest through interactive installations and educational stops. The trail can be enjoyed with an all-terrain stroller, although a child carrier is recommended for younger children.
